The sports scholar was part of the Denbighshire squad that took Caernarfonshire Boys’ at the picturesque Conwy Golf Club, and performed exceptionally well in the face of some stern competition.
He began the competition by emerging victorious from his team scratch match by a score of 2 and 1, before securing a notable double from the showcase by securing a dramatic final-hole success in his singles match.
This was swiftly followed by a superb showing at the Daily Telegraph Boys’ Qualifier at North Wales Golf Club in Llandudno, where he produced a sensational back-nine to come away with the overall title.

He has developed his game considerably under the guidance of dedicated coaching staff at the school, led by programme co-ordinator Ian Richardson, while also adding yards to his game thanks to the strength and conditioning initiative.
