Three more Preparatory School pupils have successfully completed an ongoing learning initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised the popular scheme for pupils last year, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, with Gabriele Subkovaite, India Livingstone and Jonah Craddock managing to come through the final stage with flying colours and get through the final level.
This has come as a result of the excellent development of their vocabulary with Rydal Penrhos’ staff, and each pupil received a certificate acknowledging their outstanding accolade from Deputy Head Alison Hind on Friday, March 16.
The Spelling Challenge is the latest in a series of academic initiatives put on by the Prep School in a bid to enhance the learning of each pupil under their care, something that has brought with it incredible results that will stand them in good stead for the future.
Mrs Hind, who devised the challenge last year, said: “This is an absolutely wonderful achievement from Gabriele, India and Jonah, and they deserve an enormous amount of credit for what they have managed to accomplish.
“Our Spelling Challenge continues to go from strength-to-strength thanks to the passion shown by both staff and pupil in relation to the various levels, and this trend will hopefully continue long into the future and boost their overall academic prowess as a result.”
