A talented young football has been rewarded for an exceptional season with a special award.
Will Glanville, a Year 4 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, is part of the Conwy Borough U10 side that have achieved an enormous amount of success in recent months, and he has been a huge contributing factor in their progress as a group despite his tender age.
This resulted in the eight-year-old scooping the Most Improved Player of the Year Award from their end of season presentation evening last week,
Will has been a formidable presence on the right wing throughout the campaign, which has also earned him the unofficial title of Fastest Player at the Club to further enhance his growing reputation.
This is the latest in a long line of sporting successes for the Prep School pupil, who is developing both academically and during co-curricular activities under the support and guidance of dedicated staff at Rydal Penrhos.
He also possesses an enormous amount of potential in gymnastics and rugby, and his creative nous also earned him first place in a recent regional Art competition.
Head of Boys’ Games Jamie McLeod, said: “Will’s long list of achievements are a testament to the superb effort he puts into each activity and task that comes his way, and he can be thoroughly proud of what he has accomplished throughout the academic year.
“Hopefully this is just the start of a glittering future for Will, and he is sure to go on to bigger and better things if he continues to show the same determination going forward.”
