Staff and pupils at Rydal Penrhos will battle it out for bragging rights once again at a special annual sporting event.
The school will be hosting their annual Leavers’ Football match on Friday, May 18 at the Giant Hospitality Stadium, home of JD Welsh Premier League side Llandudno FC.
The departing Sixth Form group will be looking for revenge after their predecessors were on the end of a 6-1 defeat last year, which saw the Reverend Nick Sissons and Head of Sixth Form Pete Lavery net twice in the triumph.
There is plenty of talent in the Upper Sixth this time around, with the likes of midfielder Matthew Trumper and forward Tawanda Harris set to be key figures in any success that comes their way in the hotly anticipated encounter.
Gabriel Dahle and Head Boy Alex Benfield are also expected to contribute significantly during the clash, while the pacey Elliot Wilkinson will also be counted on to influence proceedings and will need to be monitored closely should the staff wish to retain their crown.
However, staff will not be giving up their title without a fight and have a number of veteran players boasting plenty of experience within the squad.
Anyone wishing to attend the game is more than welcome to do so, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm.
