Five more Preparatory School pupils have achieved success within a thriving academic development initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised the popular Spelling Challenge scheme for pupils in 2017, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, with the successful pupils receiving their respective accolades from Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at their weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, June 21.
Year 6 duo Louis Walkden-Williams and Molly Alefounder are now the proud owners of a Stage Two Bronze Award after coming through their latest assessments with flying colours, with Cammie de la Mare Norris and Izhran Shah successful coming through their Stage Three Bronze test and are now just two steps away from completion.
Rounding off the latest batch of achievements was Amelia Williams, who has been rewarded for her exceptional recent commitment to the challenge with a Stage One Gold Award.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “It has been another incredible academic year of success for our Spelling Challenge, which is another extremely useful learning tool that has been implemented here at Rydal Penrhos.
“It has done wonders for the overall development of the children under our care, and the sense of reward the get from completing the various levels gives them great confidence for not only this initiative, but throughout the remainder of their academic studies.”
