Festive fun had by all at annual Christmas Party Day

There was plenty of festive fun to be had at the Preparatory School’s annual Christmas Party.

The excitement of Rydal Penrhos pupils was evident as they took part in the day-long festivities, which were held on Thursday, December 14.

All age groups came in either their own clothes or made a special effort in fancy dress for the occasion, and they took part in a parade at morning assembly.

Staff also dressed in a wide range of costumes, with everything from Minions to Mermaids on show.

There was also a visit from Father Christmas, who spoke with every single child and gave them each a gift to put under their trees.

And what festive party would be complete without Christmas dinner, with catering staff putting on another wonderful spread for pupils and staff alike.

The day concluded with both Pre-Prep and Prep pupils taking part in their own special parties, with plenty of games and dancing for them to enjoy.

Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Everyone went to a great deal of effort to ensure our Christmas party day was once again a huge hit, and I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all involved.

“Our pupils and staff work so hard throughout the year and it is only right that we send them on their way for their end of term break feeling festive, which is just reward for the effort they have put in from the academic year so far.”
