The Rydal Penrhos community turned out in force for one of the most prominent dates on the fundraising calendar.
The annual Summer Fair, which is organised by the Friends of Rydal Penrhos committee, took place on Friday, June 27, and Prep and Senior pupils enjoyed a wonderful occasion in glorious weather conditions.
There were a host of stalls, a bouncy castle and a bungee inflatable were prominent features on the Memorial Quad, with a virtual reality suite proving to be another very popular feature of the fair.
Those attending were kept entertained by a variety of music and drama performances from pupils and while refreshments were available in abundance in the form of a cake stall and barbecue.
There was also a grand raffle with a host of superb prizes on offer, with all proceeds going towards a number of projects in various areas of Rydal Penrhos.
Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “Our fantastic FORPS Committee did another sterling job of organising this year’s Summer Fair, which was a tremendous success and further highlights the amazing work done by the group throughout the academic year.
“The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic and the sunshine added to the occasion, and on behalf of everyone at Rydal Penrhos I would like to thank FORPS chair Sarah James and the rest of her team for their tireless efforts in organising the event.”
