Exciting Weekend Activities programme revealed for half term

An exciting Weekend Activities schedule has been revealed in the lead-up to the spring term’s conclusion.

Programme co-ordinator and receptionist Sarah James has once again devised an action-packed and diverse schedule, which is open to boarding and day pupils, in addition to staff and family members.

The festivities begin on Sunday, March 10 with a Mystery Bus trip to an unknown location in the region, with selfless pupils will be giving up their time at Teas for the Elderly on the same day.

A cultural trip to Edinburgh in Scotland from Friday 15 until Sunday 17 is undoubtedly the highlight of the schedule, and sporting fanatics will be given the chance to take in the Wales vs Ireland U20 Six Nations Rugby clash at Stadiwm Zip World in Colwyn Bay.

Those looking for fun-filled exercise should look no further than the Freedome Chester trip on Sunday 24, and the programme concludes with a shopping trip to Liverpool One on Sunday, March 31.

Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “Our Weekend Activities programme is extremely popular and it gives those in attendance a greater set of experiences that they do not receive during a typical week at Rydal Penrhos.

“This helps build friendships, improve confidence and broaden horizons, and I would like to thank Miss James for her ongoing commitment to what is a superb initiative.”

Anyone wishing to book on any of the trips should contact Miss James on 01492 530155 or email SJames@rydalpenrhos.com.
