Excitement is building as Rydal Penrhos prepares to lend its support to a major art and literature event this weekend.
The school will be lending their expertise to the take pART event at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, which is returning for a tenth year on Saturday, January 12 and Sunday 13.
A singing and drama workshop has been arranged for Sunday with Rydal Penrhos’ passionate and dedicated staff, which will be one-hour sessions at 12.15pm and 3pm in the Deganwy Room.
The workshop is being aimed at children aged seven to 11, and all are welcome to attend.
The school will also have a significant presence at the event on the first day, with the Senior Choir performing on the main stage for those in attendance.
This will add to the explosion of arts and literature workshops and events already confirmed, with the event looking to be even bigger and better than ever before on its tenth anniversary.
take pART is aimed at the 0 to 18-years-old age group, but previous weekends have seen parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents getting involved in workshops and craft sessions that take place throughout the facility.
The Rydal Penrhos sessions have drawn inspiration inspired from themes of science and astronomy.
In the final 10 minutes of each workshop, the children will share a performance with friends and family.
Enthusiasm and energy is essential; no stargazing knowledge required!
