Eloise Brown defies age to claim Modern Dance grading success

Rydal Penrhos pupil Eloise Brown

A gifted Preparatory School dancer added to her list of recent accolades with yet another grading success.

Eloise Brown, a Year 3 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, produced a fantastic effort to gain a Merit in her Grade Two Modern Dance examination, which was administered by the Royal Academy of Dance.

The eight-year-old produced another fantastic effort despite being the youngest in the group to try out for the recognition, and her superb performance fell just four marks of a Distinction.

The gifted pupil will now begin preparing in the hope of achieving further success in the future as she looks to add to her already impressive list of certificates despite her tender age.

Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: This is truly wonderful news and congratulations go to Eloise on gaining her Grade Two Modern Dance assessment.

“For her to keep her composure in a relatively high pressure situation as the youngest candidate is a testament to both her preparation and desire to succeed, two traits that will stand her in good stead as she looks to pursue further success in the future.

“She is one of many multi-talented pupils we have here at Rydal Penrhos, and they all give up a lot of their time to develop all areas of her dancing, something which is bringing with it superb results and long may this continue.”
