Early Years children at Rydal Penrhos brought some festive cheer to residents of a Colwyn Bay care home prior to their well-earned Christmas holidays.
The youngest members of the Prep School community showcased their budding Performing Art skills during their Whoops a Daisy Angel mini-pantomime, which was once again another massive success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The contingent, who worked closely with department staff led by the passionate Louise Roberts during the rehearsal process, made the short trip to Merton Place Care Home in Colwyn Bay to perform in front of residents at the facility.
This is part of their ongoing community involvement at the home, which has benefitted children and residents alike throughout the first term of the academic year.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “This was such a heart-warming performance from our Early Years children, who took on this challenge with their typical enthusiasm and determination to a sensational performance to residents of Merton Place.
“We are very proud of our ongoing work both with Merton Place and the wider community in general here at Rydal Penrhos, and this was particularly evident during the busy Christmas period thanks to the exciting schedule put on by our wonderful staff at both our Prep and Senior sites.”
