Early Years’ children took part in a host of different learning activities to finish off the half term in style.
The group have been working incredibly hard on a number of exciting topics under the guidance of hard-working staff at Rydal Penrhos, who continue to produced varied and interactive programmes to aide each child with their overall development.
One of the highlights of a busy week was a busy Forest School session, where the group were tasked with basic camping-themed tasks, which included cooking their very own toast on the campfire.
They all had a special visit from some ducklings, where the group were able to stroke the cute creatures and take care of them during their stay at the department.
Working on numeracy and literacy also remains a prominent feature throughout the week, while they also got the opportunity to make their very own animal characters out of dough.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Early Years’ staff do a truly wonderful job of providing each child under their care with the perfect foundation from which to build when they enter the Prep School, and this has been one of the cornerstones of our success here at Rydal Penrhos.
“It is great to see the children having fun and learning in a safe and friendly environment, where they receive considerable support and nourishment to give them the best possible start on their education journey.”
