Early Years children at Rydal Penrhos were greeted by a special visitor as part of their final outdoor learning session of the term.
The enthusiastic group took part in their final Coastal School session prior to the break, and they were visited by none other than Father Christmas himself, who took time out of his incredibly busy schedule over the festive period to speak with each child and give them a special gift to put under their tree ahead of the big day.
This was the latest in a series of fun-filled activities devised by the department’s exceptional staff team during the final stages of the autumn term, which also included a special trip to the Santa Train as a further reward for their outstanding efforts throughout the initial stages of the academic year.
It was “all aboard” for a festive atmosphere on one of the region's narrow gauge steam trains as they chug along with cheer and twinkling lights.
And of course, the man himself gave out gifts to all the good children on-board.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Early Years department provides a wonderful platform from which to build a successful education, and you can see with how happy and vibrant the children and staff are to see just how much this is benefitting everyone involved.
“There was plenty of excitement for all during their busy Christmas schedule, which undoubtedly added to their excitement ahead of the festive break.”
