The group took part in a series of different activities, which have been implemented by Rydal Penrhos’ hard-working and dedicated staff which a view to enhancing their initial development.
They made the short trip to Merton Place Residential home in Colwyn Bay, where they sang a number of different nursery rhymes and showed off their skills at an Easter crafts session during the visit.
Staff member Nikki Taylor, said: All the children were very well behaved and had the confidence in chatting to the elderly about what they had made.”
They also visited the senior school to contribute to the Prep School’s Sport Relief fundraising afternoon, where the children participated in a number of different activities to raise money for the national initiative.
In the creative room, children have been showing their artistic skills with Mrs Williams by painting observation pictures of the Savannah fitting in with their safari theme, while also making Easter cards to give to their families.
The group also made full use once again of Rydal Penrhos’ Forest School, where they put in teams and were tasked with making Easter-themed nests for chicks.
