A former Rydal Penrhos pupil will be discussing her area of expertise at a special networking event next week.
Denise Hampson, who attended Penrhos College, will be the special guest speaker at the next Rydal Penrhos Business Club session, which will take place on Friday, May 11 from 8.30am in the Heathfield Room.
Mrs Hampson was a British Cycling star before becoming a behavioural economist and worked on the British Aerospace Eurofighter Typhoon project.
She became self-employed in 2006 and started with web design work, which helped generate income while she pushed forward with longer-term plans in health improvement and behaviour change.
She was also the special guest speaker at Rydal Penrhos’ Speech Day last year.
During the networking event, Mrs Hampson will be talking about Experience Design – making a product or service such a good experience that people will want to come back and bring their friends.
The Rydal Penrhos Business Club is a valuable networking forum as well as a unique opportunity to promote your products and services to the school community.
Members will be able to attend networking events organised by the club. Advertising opportunities are also available, with an online directory of members being produced and sent to Rydal Penrhos alumni and parents, as well as being available on the school website and social media channels.
