Rydal Penrhos’ Community Choir hosted an exciting new addition to this year’s Founders’ Weekend event.
The group held their first ever choir workshop as part of the weekend-long festivities on Saturday, September 22, which offered a host of helpful hints on how to perform as part of a group.
Director of Music Pete Williams led the session and lend his expert advice in the form of singing tips, poise and breathing techniques in a bid to help improve each singer in attendance.
Following this the choir sang a number of popular hymns and songs that have been a fantastic addition to the various concerts put on by the school throughout the year.
Mr Williams, said: “It was a thoroughly enjoyable event and I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to every member of the Community Choir that gave up their time to attend the workshop.
“They do an enormous amount of good work throughout the academic year at both concerts held at Rydal Penrhos and at community events, and I am confident that this will continue long into the future thanks to each member’s extraordinary commitment and passion for the group.”
