Sixth Form pupils at Rydal Penrhos got some valuable advice on their upcoming university applications thanks to a special visit.
The Year 12 group were given a talk by Charlotte Lindley, Schools and Colleges Liaison Assistant at the University of Chester on the next stage of their further education options at the newly refurbished Sixth Form Ferguson Centre on Friday, April 26.
During the address, Miss Lindley discussed various things relating to their application, including the all-important personal statement, choosing the right degree course in relation to your desired job prospects and finding what university is best for them with visits and research.
This is the latest in a series of special talks and experiences given to the Year 12 group during a critical stage in their future planning, with the school’s dedicated staff team and form tutors providing expert guidance and support throughout the process.
Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “We realise that this is a significant moment in our Sixth Formers’ lives in relation to the next stage of their journey, and the decisions they make now will impact their employment opportunities and financial security in the future.
