A Preparatory School pupil has been rewarded for her determination with an impressive dance grading achievement.
Charlotte Knight, a Year 1 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, managed to secure her Pre-Primary in Dance Award from her recent assessment, and she received her certificate at the school's weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 9.
The six-year-old came through the examination with flying colours after impressing adjudicators, which was administered by the Royal Academy of Dance.
This is the latest in a long line of achievements from Prep School pupils across various academic and co-curricular areas, thanks to the wide-ranging opportunities available to each pupil.
Charlotte is following in the footsteps of sister Ellie, a Year 4 pupil that has thrived in various areas such as swimming and martial arts.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Charlotte has done enormously well since joining Rydal Penrhos, and she has taken advantage of every opportunity offered to her both in-and-out of the classroom.
“Gaining new experiences outside of school hours is something we are always keen to support and actively encourage, and congratulations go to Charlotte on gaining her Pre-Primary Dance award.
“Hopefully this will just be the start of bigger and better things to come in the future and we will always to ensure her ambitions are met.”
