Budding swimmers will have the chance to advance their skills at a special learning event over the Summer break.
The school’s swimming department has announced a Summer Intensive Crash Course, which will take place from July 23 until August 1.
The sessions have been implemented to give those wanting to learn a great opportunity to take advantage of lessons that staff otherwise cannot accommodate during term time.
As frequency is the key for many children to progress through the stages of learning, these lessons offer an ideal solution to continuing and improving swimming routine.
A variety of additional classes, focussing around intensive styles of teaching to give children the best possible platform to advance in confidence building, grasping techniques quicker and enhancing their overall understanding of aquatics will also take place.
Children aged five and over are welcome to attend, and the beginners’ or and intermediate/advanced classes course are priced at £70 for eight sessions or £10 per session.
There is a special offer for families that attend swimming lessons at Rydal Penrhos, with the intensive costing £60.
One-to-one coaching is priced at £95 advanced and £90 beginner for five sessions, or £20 per session.
Head of Swimming Maciej Ruszkowski, said: “We ran these sessions over the Easter period and they were met with an extremely positive response, so hopefully we will have the same amount of success during the summer.
“It is a fantastic opportunity to either pick up the basics or improve your technique in a relaxed environment, under the supervision and guidance of our fantastic coaching staff.”
