Two Preparatory School pupils have picked up more accolades as part of their involvement with a local youth organisation.
Ava Culver and Lexi-May Williams, Year 3 pupils at Rydal Penrhos, have been members of a Brownie group for a considerable amount of time, and they have been working incredibly hard on securing various badges during weekly sessions.
Lexi-May’s impressive culinary skills over a consistent period thoroughly impressed group leaders, enabling her to successfully secure her Baking badge as a result of her efforts.
There was further cause for celebration from a Rydal Penrhos perspective thanks to the superb commitment from Ava, who showcased her aspiring Drama talent in order to secure the Performing badge.
Both pupils received their respective badges from Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at the Prep School’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 10.
Mrs Hind, said: “Both Ava and Lexi-May are incredibly driven individuals for children so young, and they are developing some impressive skills they can take into later life as part of their local Brownie group.
“We have so many pupils in either the Cubs or Brownies, and theses organisation enable those taking part to build friendships, boost confidence and feel an enormous sense of achievement.”
