A talented young performing artist has been rewarded for her hard work with a notable grading success.
Ava Culver, a Year 1 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, produced a fantastic performance to gain her Pre-Primary in Dance grading, which was administered by the Royal Academy of Dance.
The six-year-old, who attends the Pearl Shaw School of Performing Arts in Colwyn Bay, took the assessment on December 4 and received a certificate for her efforts at the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 10.
The pupil, who is the daughter of teacher Catherine Culver, will now begin working hard in the hope of achieving further grading success in the future.
This is the latest in a long line of grading triumphs from Rydal Penrhos pupils in recent months in a number of areas including music, drama and dance.
Prep School head Roger McDuff, said: “I would like to offer a huge congratulations to Ava for achieving this grading success, which is thoroughly deserved after all the hard work she has put in both at Pearl Shaw and at home.
“Our pupils do a fantastic job of gaining additional experiences and awards outside of school hours, which is a significant benefit to their development and is something we actively encourage here at Rydal Penrhos.”
