Talented musicians at Rydal Penrhos will get the chance to showcase their skills at an upcoming event.
The school will be hosting a special Young Performers’ Concert, at St John’s Church on Thursday, March 7, with the event taking place from 6.30-8pm.
A host of gifted pupils will perform on a series of different instruments, and there will also be a series of solo vocal contributions from the wonderfully committed group that are improving their respective talents considerably under the guidance of Rydal Penrhos dedicated teaching staff and other specialist coaches.
This is an extremely busy time for the school’s aspiring performing artists, with a 60-strong cast set to take the stage over a three-night period later this month for the eagerly anticipated Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
Director of Music Pete Williams, said: “It promises to be another fantastic spectacle and those performing have been working very hard to ensure the concert is a huge success once again.
“We have so many pupils with incredible musical gifts here at Rydal Penrhos, and events such as this are a great for them to showcase this, while also gaining some vital experience of playing in-front of a live audience.
“I look forward to welcoming both parents and members of the public to our wonderful school.”
