An aspiring filmmaker has been acknowledged for his impressive work with a regional Performing Arts Academy.
Perry Williams, a Year 6 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, recently joined the Pauline Quirk Performing Arts Academy in Llandudno, and has already been putting his skills to good use during his initial few weeks with the group.
The 11-year-old was awarded the Filmmaker of the Week thanks to his standout commitment at the Academy, and he received his certificate from Deputy Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 11.
He impressed coaches significantly with his creativity and eye for a good shot throughout, which earned him the deserved recognition.
This is the latest in a long line of academic and co-curricular achievements for the Prep School pupil, who has thrived during his time at Rydal Penrhos thanks to the commitment he is showing under the guidance of dedicated and passionate staff.
Mrs Hind, said: “This is a fantastic achievement from Perry and it is great to see him really standing out at the Academy since joining.
“He is a very polite and hard-working young man who is sure to go on to great things in the future, and we look forward to hearing about even more successes in the very near future.”
