Rydal Penrhos will be hosting a pair of Open Morning events in the spring for the first time.
Both Prep and Senior sites will be welcoming prospective pupils and their families over a two-day period, which will give them a first-hand opportunity to see for themselves what goes on during a typical day at the school.
The Senior School Open Morning will take place on Friday, April 27 from 9.30am, and will begin with a special welcoming address from Headmaster Simon Smith.
Those in attendance will then be given individual tours of the school with pupil tour guides, which will see visitors observe all departments situated at Rydal Penrhos.
Following the tours, there will be a chance to speak with teaching and admissions staff, in addition to current parents and alumni to get a broader perspective of the day-to-day life of a pupil, the curriculum, pastoral care and what it is like to be a part of the school community.
The Prep School Open Morning will take place on Saturday, April 28 from 9.30am and will follow a similar format.
Staff and pupils will be taking part in classroom and outdoor activities as they would during a normal school day, which will include sessions in the Forest School and other facilities.
Prep School Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Open Morning events are the very best way to see for yourself the great things we have going on throughout all areas of Rydal Penrhos’ Prep and Senior School areas.
“Our pupils play a huge part in the occasion and are on hand to answer any questions regarding the school, and this really is a fantastic chance for anyone thinking about joining the school community to get a better indication of the academic and co-curricular success we continue to accomplish.”
