Preparatory School pupils, family members and staff closed out the academic year in style at an annual social event.
The school held its annual Leavers’ Lunch on Friday, July 5, where Rydal Penrhos’ Prep School community gathered one final time before heading off on their well-deserved summer break.
The event marked the end at the Prep School for Year 6, who are all departing for the next stage of their respective journeys after an outstanding contribution to all areas of Rydal Penrhos life.
Catering providers Holroyd Howe put on a lavish spread for those in attendance, with school Chaplain the Reverend Nick Sissons opening the lunch with a special prayer giving thanks.
Prep School Head Alison Hind also addressed those in attendance to thank them for their outstanding efforts throughout a busy few months at the site.
The lunch followed another hugely successful Speech Day event, which celebrated the wealth of academic and co-curricular achievements from hard-working pupils throughout the academic year under the guidance and support of dedicated staff at the school.
Mrs Hind, said: “Our Leavers’ Lunch is always a joyous affair and one that has a really special feel about it, and this year’s event proved to be no different.
“It has been an extraordinary year of achievement and developments across all areas of Rydal Penrhos, and it is going to be another very busy summer of exciting plans before everything starts once again in September.”
